We are Charlotte & Sofien, a photography duo documenting modern celebrations for international couples getting married in France and across Europe.
Drawn to beautiful places, thoughtful design and genuine connection, we create imagery that feels both natural and intentional, balancing atmosphere, emotion and aesthetics in equal measure.
We are based in France and working across Europe.
We don’t just document weddings, we observe them.
What draws us in is not only the people, but the entire atmosphere around them: the place, the light, the design, the energy of the day.
Our work lives in the balance between real moments and a strong visual intention.
We move between natural storytelling and a more direct, editorial approach when the moment calls for it, always with the same goal: create images that feel honest, modern and visually compelling.
How we photograph a wedding
We move between observation and intention. Most of the time, we focus on candid moments, what happens naturally, without interruption. We stay present, quiet, and attentive to real interactions as they unfold.
We don’t direct the day. We let it breathe.
At the same time, we are not invisible. When needed, we gently guide a portrait, suggest a moment, or step in for a more composed image that fits the atmosphere of the day.
We also use flash during the day and in the evening when it helps shape the mood, especially for dance floors, portraits or stronger visual scenes.
The result is a mix of spontaneous storytelling and more intentional frames, always driven by what feels true to the moment.

France is where we are based and where we love to photograph many destination weddings, from Paris to the countryside, the Alps and the South of France.
Europe is also a constant source of inspiration for us. We regularly travel to photograph weddings in different countries, discovering new places, atmospheres and ways of celebrating.
Each wedding destination brings its own light, rhythm and energy. This naturally influences how we approach your story.
